“Who is Magnablend?” Magnablend, Inc. is a privately held Texas corporation specializing in custom chemical manufacturing, blending, and packaging. Magnablend manufactures products based on each customer's own formulations and specifications, but can assist in the development of new formulations as well. The company was formed in 1979 by David and Darlene Pendery. David graduated from Texas A&M University in 1969. He worked for 10 years in the chemical industry in sales and as the Sales Manager for a large chemical distributor in Dallas, Texas, before starting the company. David and Darlene retired in 2011. Current President and CEO, Scott Pendery, joined the company in 1993 to help manage and grow the business. He has overseen the expansion from a single facility in Waxahachie, Texas, to four facilities in Texas, and operations in Pennsylvania, Wyoming, and North Dakota.   “What do we produce?” Magnablend manufactures products based on each customer's own formulations and specifications. We manufacture custom chemicals for a variety of industries, including: energy services, agriculture, water treatment, construction and industrial cleaning. Our products include guar gum slurries, fluid loss additives, buffers, breakers, friction reducers, spacers, specialty cement additives, root stimulators, micro nutrients, specialty fertilizers, nitrogen stabilizers, animal nutrients, coil cleaners, degreasers, and car wash products.   “What type of packaging do we do?” Magnablend ships both liquid and powder products. Liquids usually ship in bulk tank trucks, 330 gallon tote tanks, 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails, and 2.5 gallon jugs. Powders usually ship in bulk transport trucks, 2,000 lb. Super Sacks, 50 lb. bags, 30 lb. bags, 10 lb. bags, and 2.5 lb. bags.   “How many people work at Magnablend?” Magnablend employs 325 people in Texas, Pennsylvania, Wyoming and North Dakota.   “What is Magnablend's safety record?” Safety has always been at the forefront of our concerns and we have continually evaluated and upgraded our processes and procedures. Magnablend has had a good compliance record with all of the state and federal regulatory agencies and we are committed to continual improvement in the Environment Health and Safety Department as with all of our operations.   "Will Magnablend provide all of the raw materials and packaging for my project?" Whether you are looking for a toll blender, a complete start to finish blender and packager, or something in-between, Magnablend can service your needs. We have customers who prefer to have us purchase all raw materials and packaging for their projects because of our purchasing power. Other customers want Magnablend to utilize our purchasing power for a portion of the raw materials but still provide us with a few of the raw materials and packaging. We have some customers who provide all of the raw materials and packaging for their projects.   "What type of customer service can I expect from Magnablend?" The customer service department at Magnablend prides itself on its responsiveness. We maintains a 24 hour emergency contact number that is manned by a customer service representative. We are very familiar with hot shot shipments and have the ability to keep inventory on the floor for emergencies. Magnablend's track record is second to none. Our full time quality control inspectors and lab technicians at both our liquid and powder facilities ensure your product meets your specifications before it leaves the Magnablend facility.   “What project documentation can Magnablend provide?” Customer Reporting: • Raw Material Inventory Levels • Packaging Inventory Levels • Finished Good Inventory Levels • Lot # Traceability • Production Date • Weight Verification • Batch Ticket Accountability • Certificate of Analysis w/ Each Batch   "Can Magnablend handle blind shipments?" Magnablend views itself as a manufacturing and packaging extension of your operation. We regularly blind ship with our customer's name on the bill of lading.   "What type of payment terms are the most common?" After a relationship is established, we typically move to thirty day terms. Magnablend generates your bill after the product has shipped. We can charge by the pound or the gallon. Our customer service department is very flexible and can accommodate almost any billing system.   "Does Magnablend produce its own products?" No. Magnablend has made the decision not to develop our own proprietary products. Alternatively, we have decided to offer outstanding quality and exemplary service while safeguarding our customers' formulations with the highest level of integrity.   "Who should I contact to discuss my project?"
